Wednesday night, the top-10 “American Idol” finalists took the stage at Arco Arena on their second stop on the “American Idol Live! Tour 2010.”
Friday night (August 13) at the Staples Center saw the return of all top 10 “American Idol” season-nine finalists to Los Angeles for the American Idols Live! Tour.
Every year when “American Idols Live” rolls through Tulsa, we get a chance to spend some time with a few of the top 10 finalists before the show.
Sleeping on the buses, doing press and shows almost nightly, I think they might have loved a day to just catch up on some sleep! But they are troopers and gave us their full attention…

In a move that is unprecedented in ‘Idol’ history, the tour’s promoter, Live Nation, appears to be reacting to slow ticket sales by reworking the schedule, moving dates up and canceling shows…
“We love you guys,” virtually every performer told the audience, a line that probably wasn’t mandated in the contracts they signed to be on “Idol,” but might as well have been.
