About the Fansite:
Every once in a while we see a refreshing face on television and in an instant we become drawn to that person. The more we find out about the person, the more we like and want to see and know even more. Such was our feeling when we first saw Didi audition for American Idol Season 9 and heard her sing The Beatle’s “Hey Jude.” Her crisp, sensitive voice filled the quiet room and all four judges paid attention. We paid attention. Her song resonated in our hearts long after the show was over. We didn’t mind so much that her back story, losing her best friend made it into the hands of Idol producers to show- it was after all Didi’s inspiration in auditioning. She impressed us again come Hollywood week when she sang Katharine McPhee’s single “Terrified” which happens to be a song written by Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. We heard Katharine and Kara’s version and we think Didi’s stripped down rendition won it for us. We’ve never heard the music before and Didi made it sound like it was a hit song! Katherine and Kara owes Didi a GREAT deal! Because she picked that song to sing and performed it beautifully in front of millions watching around the world, “Terrified” is now enjoying massive recognition.
Is it too much to ask that we want to see her on the American Idol tour?! If you like Didi, please vote so she can be among the Top 10 touring America in the Summer. Mission accomplished: Didi in the Top 10 and will be touring! Even Going further, is it too much of a wish to see Didi in the finale??
