Last Friday, March 4th- Didi Benami graced the USBA lightweight Title Live Championship Boxing charity event presented by Warner Center War and Knockouts For Girls.

She opened the event by singing the national anthem in the packed Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom. We heard she did a spectacular job singing the Star-Spangled Banner. We can only imagine, she knocked it out of the ballpark! Ha, get it?!

Season 7 American Idol finalist Michael Johns and his wife attended the event and tweeted a pic of Didi with a note: “It was at a big boxing match in Oxnard; she did great, silenced the room! Hard to do with a rowdy crowd.”

Didi updated the fans via her official Facebook after the event:

“CRAZY NIGHT! The matches were RAD! It was so good to see my ladies! You are doing an amazing wonderful job! LOVE YOU and glad I got to be a part! Also ran into @michael_johns and his wife tonight- how cool? Really nice guy! Then onto Hotel Cafe…the escapades ensued with late night piano playing and I may be singin a …lil diddy with my friend Keaton Simons next week and more to come in the near future… stay tuned.”

We are waiting to get more updates from this event. The Knockouts For Girls site says pictures are coming up soon. We hope they get more of Didi! We wished we had been there!
