September 29th- Didi Benami performed before a select audience at Mikal Blue and GreenRoots’ second monthly “Blue ‘n Green” Songwriter Showcase at Mikal’s Revolver Recordings studio in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Donning a cheery Paisley floral halter dress and her guitar, Didi presented two original songs to the enthusiastic crowd. One is titled “Don’t,” a beautifully crafted acoustic solo piece (see video below). She sang another original that she co-wrote with Josh Zegan. Entitled “Crash or Burn,” the song is still in the works and in its early stages. She performed it with Larry Marciano on guitar.

Other performers that night were: Angel Taylor, Keaton Simons, John West, Tony Lucca, Katie Costello, Sara Haze, (former American Idol contestant) Josiah Leming, Jenni Alpert, Mike Isberto, Mahndo, the Davey G Project, Keaton Simons, Kelly McGrath and Katie Costello.

*Ms Angelique Sheppard and her husband David “Davey G” of the GreenRoots Productions asked Didi to play that night.

Didi truly enjoyed the intimate setting (see photos!) and summed it up with:

“… as you can see, I am thoroughly Enjoying the magical evening at the studio with some spectacular musicians!!”
