Didi Benami blogs on MySpace: “Where to begin again…?”

Fresh off a 44-city tour all across America that concluded August 31st in IN, Didi sends out an update to her fans through her official MySpace page today, September 4th.

While eager fans can not wait to hear more from Didi and a lot of her Twitter followers are asking for “Twitter Parties” from her, we say: “Let’s give Didi some time off y’all!!”

She’s been through a lot, away from her apartment in LA for over two months. We can imagine the pile of letters/fan mails, the house cleaning (!), grocery shopping, reunion with family and friends, just catching up where she left off before American Idol. She deserves a little break!!

Here’s what she wrote to fans:

Hello-

I know myspace is old school but until I get a chance to update all these websites I will make sure to keep you informed via one my communication devices whether it be twitter, facebook, myspace… outer space…(just kidding- that was to make sure you’re still with me)

Other than that… I have just begun re- organizing apartment, my life, my thoughts and dreams…

I need to get up the the studio and write… but I need to take a minute to relax…

Tour isn’t a piece of cake, by any means- although it’s an incredibly wonderful experience and THANK YOU endlessly to everyone who came out in every city, it really was unbelievable!

I’m very excited about the future… there is a lot to look forward to. New opportunities are around the corner and I am working on trying to re- record some of Rebecca’s songs for an EP in which the proceeds would go to a non-profit of Rebecca’s family’s choice.

I would like to finish the album I started working on before American Idol and get it to you all by this time next year….

Lastly, There’s a possibility I could wind up doing some acting

One way or another I will see you all again soon!

Season 9 has wrapped- A new chapter has begun…
