We were very surprised when we bought and listened (to) Didi’s studio version of “What becomes of the Broken Hearted.”
What can we say, it was upbeat and sounded country…
We can’t help but wonder, if she did this version live would it have made a difference on the outcome?
The more intriguing question is why is her studio version different from the live performance? The difference is like night and day. Considering that the Top 10 usually records the iTunes songs over the weekend BEFORE the show, were there considerations on why the recording was uptempo and the live was done slow? Do the producers had a hand on this too??
