Through Didi, we discovered Rebecca Joy Lear- one beautiful talent who would have been 23 years old this year. Her journey tragically ended after an automobile accident eleven days before Christmas in December 2005. Rebecca was only 18. Visiting her website is bittersweet. We do not know her but we are saddened by the loss. We feel the void.

We listened to her original music filled with poetry and hope and they are indeed captivating.  Thank you Didi for introducing Becka, as you fondly call her, to us. You are right to make it a mission to get Rebecca’s music out to the world. People are listening. People are taking notice…

February 10, 1987 – December 14, 2005

To my guardian angel; whose name fits so perfectly
Joy- how precise a description, for such a wonderful being

You are a brilliant star
shining bright in the night sky
I can hear you
It’s more than words…
it’s Heart,
it’s Soul,
it’s Love,
it’s Joy.

It’s peace of mind that I don’t have
until I see your smile or hear your laugh
I can still hear you as if it were yesterday.
Words could not do justice to the affect you have on my life each and every day….

I miss you all the time and I’m not afraid to say
that the tears, they fall fast and furious right down my face
Then I remember that I will see you again one bright, glorious day
and you will be just as beautiful as you were the last way that I saw you.
You’ll be so proud that all your dreams came true, I SWEAR, it’s all gonna happen, if it’s the last thing I do.

There is a reason I was put here; it’s all a part of the plan
Put aside the hurt and the pain,
We will do this together, We’ve got it, we do!
I told you we were a team! Everything happens for a reason, and It’s more than ok to dream.

I know you are listening to me, from way up there.
From the space and that place that you are way up there.

as I work relentlessly, to get exactly to where we need to be
